Yamada’s AODD pumps are compliant with FDA regulations and are specifically designed for use in the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries. These pumps are comprised of a series of features including 316 stainless steel wetted components with a passivated satin finish, PTFE-coated air motors, and sanitary clamp fittings. Passivating refers to the process of modifying the surface layer or coating it with a thin inert layer to protect against contamination. These pumps are also available with FDA compliant elastomers such as Hytrel® (H), EPDM (E), PTFE (T), and Ultimate (W).
